The Group Managing Director of CODIX Laurent Tabouelle was a speaker at the 19th RECEIVABLES FINANCE INTERNATIONAL CONVENTION, 06-07 March 2019, in Marriott Hotel Grosvenor Square, London. CODIX was a Brand Sponsor of the event.

This year the Receivables Finance International Convention tracked international trends for the receivables finance environment in 2019/2020 and answered how the industry is managing political and conflict risk from local and international perspectives. The convention defined how risk management, operational efficiency and compliance are being dealt with in such rapidly evolving market.

On the first day of the event Laurent Tabouelle moderated a Case Study. The topic of the session was: A contract handled fully digitally: Myth or reality? The wokshop covered the subject across the whole life cycle of a contract: onboarding; risk management; funding; cash application and collection; end of life.

This year discussions included also the latest technological developments in digitalization and working capital requirements. The drive towards automated cloud accounting presented a great opportunity for factoring and other forms of receivables finance, credit and insurance providers. The agenda of the event included also combating fraud and protecting risk practice, alternative finance, P2P, crowdfunding and auction platforms, supply chain finance providers, single invoice finance and marketplace lenders, Fintechs.
