BAFT Global Annual Meeting 2023
CODIX IS A CONFERENCE SPONSOR OF THE 2023 BAFT GLOBAL ANNUAL MEETING IN SAN FRANCISCO
CODIX is a Conference Sponsor of the 2023 BAFT Global Annual Meeting which will take place in San Francisco from April 30 – May 3. The event is aimed at the participants in international transaction banking. Its goal is to help bridge solutions across financial institutions, service providers and the regulatory community that promote sound financial practices enabling innovation, efficiency and commercial growth.
Over the last few years, traditional correspondent banking has experienced exponential changes across product delivery and servicing, regulatory compliance as well as relationship building. Geopolitical forces, rising interest rates, supply chain disruption, changes in the workforce, acceleration of innovation, the rise of blockchain, cryptocurrencies, and the metaverse have affected business models, transactions and business operations. At the same time, banking is facing increasing pressure over ESG performance, vital in achieving company and wider sustainability goals.
As the banking industry accelerates its move towards digitization and commercializing the use of customer data, the agenda includes sessions on cyber risks and trends. In addition, a discussion will cover the Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) and their future in trade; the uptake, or lack thereof, of digital trade services, drawing on the challenges, successes, and failures across the ecosystem.
Billy Quinn, CODIX USA Managing Director, will attend the conference, in order to bring his perspective and provide guidance on the role of technology in the ongoing processes.
This year’s BAFT Global Annual Meeting will tackle these disruptive forces, while providing a venue for industry players to further converse on these topics and forge partnerships.
BAFT is the leading global forum for bringing the financial community, its solution providers and stakeholders together to collaborate on defining best market practices that facilitate efficient delivery of trade and cash management products and service offerings for their clients.
