CODIX WAS AN EXHIBITOR AT THE ABFA CONFERENCE IN IRELAND

CODIX participated at the ABFA Conference 2016. The international event took place on 4th-5th May in Dublin, Ireland. The Asset Based Finance Association (ABFA) represents the asset-based lending, factoring and invoice discounting industries in the UK and Ireland.

The conference had a full agenda in line with the latest trends reshaping the asset based finance market, including the findings of the European Whitepaper. The research identified the industry sectors, the type and scale of companies which use invoice finance and for the first time, the loss performance of the Industry. One of the main themes was the ongoing threats of cyber-attacks and their risks and the need to ensure that the right infrastructure and processes are in place. Among the discussed topics were: the use of market intelligence to identify the best prospects through the web footprints; how social media can be used to target potential customers for the industry, as well as data protection laws and regulations.
