Senior Automation Engineer

Primary responsibilities:

• Participate in the development and enhancement of our existing automation framework, adding new capabilities and refactoring existing functionalities.
• Help improving automation testing processes in the company
• Design, implement and execute automated test scenarios
• Participate in the code review process and contribute to code adhering to best coding prac-tices
• Mentor junior team members and provide technical leadership
• Work with other teams to understand the business requirements and technical integration of the automation test process

Requirements:

• At least 3 years’ experience in Test Automation for Web applications
• Knowledge of Quality Assurance theory: principles, methodologies and techniques
• Knowledge and experience with Test Automation tools –Selenium Web Driver, Cucumber, Maven, TeamCity
• Knowledge and experience with programming languages (Java),
• Knowledge and experience with databases - Oracle DB;
• Knowledge and experience with defect tracking systems
• Excellent communication skills – both to a technical and non-technical audience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Desired skills:

• Previous experience with CI/CD systems
• Previous experience with Jira
• Previous experience in financial software testing
